چکیده

Thermal comfort, indoor air quality (IAQ), and energy use are closely related, even though these have different aspects with respect to building performance. We analyzed thermal comfort IAQ using real-time multiple environmental data, which include temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide (CO2), particulate matter (e.g., PM10 PM2.5), as well electricity from an recovery ventilation (ERV) system for a childcare center. frequency time-series analyses were conducted in detail thoroughly observe conditions without ERV operation, identify savings opportunities during occupied unoccupied hours. The results show that the highest CO2 concentrations reduced by 51.4% 29.5%, respectively, hours when was operating. However, it also identified frequencies occurred discomfort By analyzing communicating three types of monitoring is concluded should be controlled considering not only PM2.5) but enhance save based on data.

Air Quality and Thermal Comfort in Office Buildings: Results of a Large Indoor Environmental Quality Survey

This paper presents results of over 34,000 survey responses to air quality and thermal comfort questions in 215 buildings in US, Canada, and Finland. Results show that 80% or more of the occupants expressed satisfaction with their thermal comfort in only 11% of the buildings surveyed. Air quality scores were somewhat higher, with 26% of buildings having 80% or occupant satisfaction. With respec...

Real-Time Indoor Air Quality Monitoring Through Wireless Sensor Network

Recently, indoor air quality monitoring (AQM) has become an important research area for the concern of human health and lifestyle. The AQM is usually based on the deployment of wireless sensor networks (WSN) within the building. Bridging the gap between gas sensors, deployed at different locations of the WSN, and the Internet becomes a challenging task in terms of link reliability and data inte...

Using webcam for indoor air quality monitoring

Nowadays application of webcam becomes more and more popular. Thus webcams are being developed to have better resolution but lower cost. This has motivated us to evaluate the suitability of using webcam for indoor air quality monitoring. This monitoring involved determining the concentration of particulate matter with diameter less than 10 micron (PM10). An algorithm was developed to convert mu...
